Week 7 - lock up underway

Yes, probably moving on to fortnightly updates for now as things are becoming less obvious, but not at all slowing down... even the antarctic vortex couldn't stop Carter Grange's good work... we've got plumbing... the heating and cooling units and ducts have been installed in the roof space... the windows and most external doors were delivered and installed... and the enviroseal wrapped to the ground floor external walls... very happy ☺

On site meeting

We met with our Site Supervisor Nick and Project Administrator Vanessa on site this morning, and not only was it nice to put faces to the names, but also good to know that such nice people were looking after the build of our home. The meeting went well, and there isn't much to report as things have been going smoothly so far. We made a few small variations, the main one being to relocate the garage internal access door from the living to the study, which they said shouldn't be a problem.

Week 5 - under cover

Well, we thought last week's miserable weather would slow things down, but rain, hail or shine Carter Grange's trades kept at it... scaffs, gutters, tiles and we have a roof ☺
