Couldn't believe trades were on site on a Sunday!... but retaining wall's looking good...

Week 4 - frame's done!

Estimated timeframe for frame stage: 4-6 weeks... actual completion of frame stage: less than 2 weeks!!

Ground floor & first floor frame and upper storey roof trusses all done! Next stage: lock up... we know things will slow down a little from now but are confident Carter Grange will keep it up ☺

Week 3 - taking shape

Another very productive week, and quite impressed at how much Carter Grange's carpenter Mark and his team have achieved in just 6 days (yes, they were on site Saturday)... the house is now taking shape with the ground floor frame, steel beams, ground-first floor cover and front part/facade of the first floor frame done.

Week 2 - we have a slab!

Form work and concrete pour all done in 3 days!... and yes, we have a slab ☺ very impressed Carter Grange

Week 1 - site's ready

Happy to say that trades have been on site pretty much every day including Saturday, and happy to see the progress... looks like all underground drains, plumbing & slab piers are done, and we have a meter box! Keep up the good work Carter Grange ☺

Site Start date!

Well, I guess Carter Grange wasn't kidding when they called this morning to say that today's our official build start date, as works on site have already started this afternoon!... cut and fill is under way...

Final drawings signed & submitted and now officially into 'construction stage'! Happy anniversary to us ☺... now just waiting on build start date to be confirmed.
