Demolition completed
Took a little while to get started, but the team at BR Demolition have done a great job and have been a pleasure to deal with, and the demolition has now been completed!... never thought I could be so happy at the look of dirt ☺
BR Demo's quote was very competitive, not the cheapest (never go for the cheapest lol) but far from the most expensive. They did a great job and provided a clear site.
Altho CG prefers if you can move out & demo beforehand (not sure if still the same) we were not prepared to demo the old house until after the contract was signed and finance was approved, which means there was just over a month between contract signing (10 Mar) and demo complete (14 Apr), but the demo itself only took about 1 week (and we had asbestos).
Nothing specific to look out for, except that it took a bit of coordinating especially with timing of gas & electricity abolishment prior to demo... oh and also don't forget council's asset protection permit.
